CommentThe mother speaks to her child: Lift your face towards the light, my love. Let it shine on you, don’t fear. It is my gift to you, so that you’ll always remember what it feels like, this warm mask of light will live in you and guide your path.
I am your mother, and yet I can’t protect you from the suffering and pain in life. But I will teach you to see the light in yourself and others and give you certainty that joy is ahead and can be seized.
