About Rarible
What is Rarible?
Rarible is a multichain marketplace for digital and physical collectibles. You can explore, buy, and sell NFTs across multiple blockchains, and — new with the relaunch — browse and trade graded physical collectibles (Pokémon, One Piece, sports cards, comics, and more) aggregated from leading collectible marketplaces, plus open a Gacha pack.
What's new in the relaunch?
The core NFT marketplace works the same as before. We've added two new sections:
- Collectibles — a single place to browse graded cards and physical collectibles aggregated from multiple marketplaces, with transparent pricing.
- Gacha — buy a collectible pack (see the Gacha section).
Is Rarible custodial — do you hold my funds or items?
No. Rarible is a non-custodial DApp. You connect your own wallet, keep your own NFTs and funds, and we never take custody of your money. Transactions settle on-chain directly from your wallet.
Is Rarible connected to the RARI / $RARI token?
No. IMPOSSIBLE acquired the Rarible brand and certain key platform assets. The broader RARI Foundation ecosystem, including the RARI token, remains independently managed and governed by the relevant RARI Foundation entities.
Getting Started
Do I need an account?
Rarible is a DApp — you sign in by connecting a crypto wallet. There's no traditional email sign-up required to browse, buy, or sell.
I don't have a crypto wallet — can I still use Rarible?
Yes. You can pay with a card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay via MoonPay, so you don't need to already hold crypto to buy.
Do I need to complete KYC / identity verification?
No. Rarible does not currently require KYC as a condition of participation. However, we reserve the right to request identity verification or other compliance information at any time where required by applicable laws, regulations, sanctions requirements, or our internal policies. The Platform and related Services are not available to persons located in, resident in, or otherwise subject to the laws of any jurisdiction where participation is prohibited or restricted by applicable laws or regulations.
Buying & Payment
How do I buy an item?
Find the NFT or collectible you want, connect your wallet (or pay by card via MoonPay), and complete the purchase. Fixed-price items can be bought instantly.
How do I pay?
- USDC / crypto — if you already hold funds in your wallet
- Card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay via MoonPay — for buyers who don't hold crypto. MoonPay (Visa / Mastercard / Apple Pay / Google Pay) converts your payment to complete the purchase (a third-party processing fee may apply)
Are there fees?
Rarible does not currently charge a marketplace fee. If you pay by card via MoonPay, MoonPay charges its own processing fee (shown at checkout), and on-chain transactions may incur a network gas fee.
Collectibles
What are "collectibles" on Rarible?
Graded, physical collectibles — Pokémon cards, One Piece cards, sports cards, comics, and more — that have been tokenized and listed on partner marketplaces. Rarible aggregates these listings so you can browse and compare them in one place.
Are these physical or digital?
A mix. Each collectible is a physical item that's been tokenized; the token represents ownership of the real, vaulted item.
How do I know a listing is backed by a real item?
Items are already minted and held in a secure vault by our partner Collector Crypt — the token maps 1:1 to the physical card in storage, with its grade and provenance recorded on-chain.
Where are the physical items kept?
In the custody of the source marketplace / vault they were listed through (e.g. Collector Crypt's vault).
Can I have the physical card shipped to me?
Not at launch. Redemption (having the physical card shipped to you) is coming in a future update. Shipping won't be available to certain countries.
Who grades the cards, and how do I know they're authentic?
Collectibles are graded by a mix of leading grading companies, shown on each listing. Because items are vaulted and tokenized, the grade and authenticity are tied to the original grading certificate held with the item.
Which blockchains are collectibles on?
Multiple — including Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, and Solana.
How is the price / value shown?
Listings show the asking price and, where available, a deal indicator comparing it to recent comparable sales.
Selling / Listing
Can I sell or list my own items?
Selling and listing your own items is coming with the Rarible marketplace, which isn't live yet. For now you can browse and buy — we'll announce listing once it's available.
Gacha
Gacha has its own dedicated experience. Open packs and see the full details on the Gacha page.
